How do I post an announcement in my course?

Click
Announcements
.
Click
Create Announcement
in the upper-left.
Fill in the
Subject
and
Message
fields.
Choose whether you want to set a date restriction.
Select the
Email Announcement
option to send an email to students.
Choose a
Course Link
if you would like to link to another area of the course.
Click
Submit
.
Tips
Use a clear and concise subject line. The subject line is the first thing that students will see.
Try to keep your announcement brief and to the point.
Use formatting to make your announcement easy to read. Use headings, bullets, and bold text to break up your text and make it easier to read.
Use a clear call to action. Tell students what you want them to do after reading your announcement.
Proofread your announcement before you post it. Make sure there are no errors in grammar or spelling.
