The following contains information regarding the different GRCC WiFi Networks, their intended uses, authentication methods, etc.

Environment

• GRCC Wireless Networks

Wireless networks

GRCC Secure

• Radius Authentication
• Must have a valid non-expired AD account as a Staff or Student
• College owned PC that has an object in AD will automatically connect
• This is the preferred method of connecting

GRCC Wireless

• Web Authentication
• Must have Staff or Student Entitlement in PeopleSoft
• Self authenticate using an email,
• Must have a valid non-expired AD account as a Staff or Student
• Guest accounts by the GRCC Support Desk are possible, but we are moving towards self-registration when feasible

GRCC

• GRCC owned iPads and IoT devices that do not support Certificate Authentication
• User Authentication will not be feasible

Eduroam

• Secure, world-wide roaming access developed for the international research and education community
• Must have a valid non-expired AD account as a Staff or Student
• Provides network connectivity to GRCC Staff and Students at participating Eduroam campuses
• Provides network connectivity to GRCC guests from participating Eduroam campuses
