Connecting to Another Institution's Eduroam Network

How do I access GRCC's Eduroam network while visiting a participating institution?

Information

Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. GRCC participates in Eduroam, allowing us to access WiFi securely on participating campuses.

 

Answer

  1. Navigate to your device's WiFi Settings.
  2. Select Eduroam from the list of networks.
  3. Authentication:
    • Enter your GRCC email address (including @grcc.edu or @email.grcc.ed) and passphrase (password) when prompted.
  4. Your device will now connect to the Eduroam network. Authentication requests are securely forwarded to us for verification and validation, without being shared with the other campus.
