How do I access GRCC's Eduroam wireless (WiFi) network as a visitor from a participating institution?

Information
Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. GRCC participates in Eduroam, allowing visitors from other participating institutions to access WiFi securely on campus.
Answer
- Navigate to your device WiFi Settings.
- Select eduroam from the list of networks.
- Authentication:
- Enter your home institution email address and password when prompted.
- Your device will now connect to the Eduroam network. Authentication requests are securely forwarded to your home institution for verification and validation, without being shared with GRCC.
Connect your Android Device (ex. Remarkable2) to Eduroam
- Click Settings then select WiFi.
- If WiFi is not enabled, please enable it.
- Select eduroam.
- You may now be asked for a password to protect the credential storage on your device. This is a security setting for your device and not your WiFi password. Please enter a memorable password here to continue.
- For EAP method select PEAP.
- For Phase 2 authentication select MSCHAPV2.
- Do not enable validation of certificate
- Enter your Identity as your username plus u/domain at your university , e.g. johndoe@grcc.edu.
- Some devices may have an Anonymous identity field. Leave this blank.
- Enter your WiFi password.
- Touch Connect.
- Your device should now be connected to Eduroam.
