Changing Power Options for a Laptop in a Closed State

Issue

When closing the lid of a laptop the monitors shut off.

Environment

• Windows 10

Resolution

1. Access Control Panel
   • Click by Start Menu and type Control Panel
2. Click Hardware and Sound
3. Click Power Options
4. On the left hand side click Choose what closing the lid does
5. Change the option in the When I close Lid row and Plugged In column to do nothing
