This document provides information on using the Zoom Workplace software for phone services. Zoom App mobile features are similar to the Zoom Workplace software.
Environment
Functions
Call Forward
- Navigate to grcc.zoom.us
- Login using MyGRCC Credentials
- Click My Account
- Click Personal
- Click Phone
- Under Business Hours:
- Optional: Click the Edit button in the Call Handling section.
- Turn off all 3 sliders so that calls will be forwarded immediately.
- Click Save.
- Select Forward to Another Extension, Forward to an External Contact, or Forward to External Number, under When a Call is Not Answered.
- Enter the desired number and a description.
- For external numbers, check the acknowledgment box for calls forwarded to the PSTN.
- Click Save.
- If needed, repeat these steps for Closed Hours.
- To turn off forwarding, enable the 3 call handling options and change “When a Call Is Not Answered” back to “Forward to voicemail/videomail”.
View Call History
- Click on the History tab in the Phone section of Zoom Workplace.
Conference Call
- Click Add Call (this option only appears if you are on an active call)
- Dial the name or number to add to the conference call.
Directory
- Above the dialpad, type the name of a person in Zoom Phone when making a call.
- To search the entire directory, go to More -> Contacts in Zoom Workplace.
Do Not Disturb
- In Zoom Workplace, click on your Profile Picture.
- Hover over your current status.
- Hover over Do Not Disturb.
- Select the amount of time to keep this status.
- Optional: add a status message (just below status).
- To turn Do Not Disturb off before the timer expires, select another status (repeat steps 1-3 above, selecting a different status for step 3).
Hold
- Press the Hold key while on a call.
- Press Unhold to resume the call.
