Setting Up Voicemail on Zoom Workspace (Softphone)

Question

How do I set up my Voicemail greeting?

Voicemail is delivered to your e-mail address and is also available on the Voicemail tab in the Phone section of Zoom Workplace.

Answer

Access Voicemail Settings

  1. Launch preferred browser
  2. Navigate to https://zoom.us
  3. Log in using Google or MyGRCC login credentials
  4. Click My Account
  5. Click Phone from left side menu

 

First Time Setup

  1. Choose a PIN and type in Set PIN code to listen to voicemail by telephone
    1. PIN Code should be 5 to 20 digits
  2. Click Setup

 

Setup a Voice Mail Greeting

  1. Click Settings tab
  2. Locate Greeting & Leave voicemail instruction
  3. Click Edit 
  4. Click Add Audio
  5. Choose audio type tab
    1. Text to Speech
      1. Add a name for the greeting to Asset Name field
        1. Ex. Daytime greeting, vacation greeting, campus closed greeting, etc.
      2. Choose Voicemail greeting in Category field
      3. Choose language and voice
      4. Type a greeting in Message to play field
      5. Click Add
    2. Upload
      1. Add a name for the greeting to Asset Name field
        1. Ex. Daytime greeting, vacation greeting, campus closed greeting, etc.
      2. Choose Voicemail greeting in Category field
      3. Click Upload
      4. Choose a file with pre-recorded message
      5. Click Add
    3. Record by Computer
      1. Add a name for the greeting to Asset Name field
        1. Ex. Daytime greeting, vacation greeting, campus closed greeting, etc.
      2. Choose Voicemail greeting in Category field
      3. Click Record
        • If prompted, allow Zoom.us to access microphone
      4. Record Message
      5. Click Stop
      6. Click Add

 

Assign a previously created greeting

  1. Click Settings tab
  2. Locate Greeting & Leave voicemail instruction
  3. Click Edit 
  4. Click Choose from Asset Library
  5. Select the desired greeting
  6. Click Save
