Enabling Cross Site Tracking

Issue

Cross site tracking settings need to be changed in order to access specific sites within Blackboard.

Environment

• Blackboard
• Web Browsers
• iOS and Windows

Resolution

iPhone using Safari

1. Navigate to Settings App
2. Scroll down to Safari
3. Toggle Off Block Cookies
4. Toggle Off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
5. Navigate to Blackboard and try to load the video

Macbook using Safari

1. Click Safari and then Preferences
2. Click Privacy
3. Uncheck the box next to Prevent cross-site tracking
4. Close Window and reload page

Windows Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More   Settings.
3. Click Privacy and security  Cookies and other site data. 
4. Select Allow all cookies
5. Verify Send a "Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic is toggled off
