Enabling Cross Site Tracking

Issue

Cross-site tracking settings need to be changed in order to access specific sites within Canvas.

Environment

• Canvas
• Web Browsers
• iOS and Windows

Resolution

iPhone using Safari

1. Navigate to the Settings App.
2. Scroll down and select Safari.
3. Toggle off Block All Cookies.
4. Toggle off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
5. Navigate to Canvas and try to load the video.

Macbook using Safari

1. Click Safari in the upper-left of your screen.
2. Click Settings (or Preferences depending on your OS version).
3. Click the Privacy tab.
4. Uncheck the box next to Prevent cross-site tracking.
5. Close the window and reload the page.

Windows Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. In the upper-right, click the More icon (three vertical dots).
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Privacy and security.
5. Click Third-party cookies.
6. Select Allow third-party cookies.
7. Verify Send a "Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic is toggled off.
