Calculated numeric questions are a type of question that allows students to enter a numeric answer. This type of question is similar to a fill-in-the-blank question, but the answer must be a number.

 

Answer

To add a calculated numeric question to a test on Blackboard, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the test where you want to add the question.
  2. Click the Create Question button.
  3. In the Question Type dropdown menu, select Calculated Numeric.
  4. In the Question Text field, type the question text.
  5. In the Correct Answer field, type the correct answer.
  6. (Optional) In the Answer Range field, type the allowable range for the answer. If the answer must be exact, type 0.
  7. (Optional) In the Feedback fields, type feedback for correct and incorrect answers.
  8. Click the Submit and Create Another or Submit button.
