Send an Email in Blackboard

How do I send an email in a Blackboard course?

Environment

• Blackboard

Answer

1. Open Blackboard.
2. Click Tools from the Course Menu to the left.
3. Click Send Email link from the Tools page.
4. Choose who you want the message sent to.  Some of the more common options are:
   • All Users: Sends an email to everyone.
   • Select Users:  Allows you to pick which students you want to send emails to.
