Deleting Columns in Grade Center

Question

How do I delete a column in my Full Grade Center in Blackboard?

Information

  • Not all grade columns can be deleted from the menu. From the top of the Full Grade Center, choose Manage > Column Organization to make additional adjustments to columns. 
  • You cannot delete columns that have grades for students. You must clear all attempts for the assignment before you can delete it.

 

Answer

  1. Log in to Blackboard. 
  2. Navigate to the course you wish to delete the column.
  3. Under the Course Management menu on the left, click Grade Center.
  4. Click on Full Grade Center.
  5. To the right of each column name, you'll see dropdown arrows .  Click on these arrows and choose Delete Column from the menu.
