Bulk Delete Course Content in Blackboard

Question 

How do I delete large amounts of content from my Blackboard course?

 

Environment

  • Blackboard

 

Answer

  1. Navigate to the desired course.
  2. Click Packages and Utilities under the Course Management menu on the bottom left. 
  3. Click Bulk Delete. 
  4. Select all options as needed. 
  5. Type Delete in the bottom confirmation box.
  6. Click Submit

If students are deleted, they will automatically be re-enrolled. The process runs every 15 minutes on the hour.
