How can I update my picture in Blackboard?

Answer
The picture displayed on your Blackboard profile comes from the most recent RaiderCard photo that GRCC has on file.. You can update this photo two ways.
Option 1
Depending on your location Student Life (main campus), Tassell M-Tec, or Lakeshore Campus to schedule a time to get your photo taken. Your new photo will then get updated automatically.
Option 2
Update the photo yourself.
- Sign into StudentLink.
- Click Photo Upload from the menu on the left.
- Read the Terms and Conditions and click AGREE.
- Read through the photo requirements. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page.
- Verify your GRCC email address is correct.
- Choose a Classification (Student or Employee).
- Click CHOOSE FILE to upload an image from your computer.
- Click UPLOAD PHOTO.
Once the photo is uploaded, you will be notified through your GRCC email whether or not your photo has been approved. It can take up to 1 day for the photo to be processed in Blackboard upon approval.
Note: If you would like your
Blackboard profile picture set to the default profile picture,
submit a ticket to IT Support.
