Keyboard Not Working


The keyboard on a workstation is not performing properly.



  • Classroom Technology
  • Faculty/Staff Workstation
  • Lab Workstation



  1. Check the keyboard cable, ensure that it is plugged into the computer
  2. If the cable is plugged in, unplug it, plug it back in after a few seconds.
    • If the computer is plugged into a dock, unplug the dock and plug it back in after a few seconds.
  3. If that does not work, plug it into a different port, wait a few seconds.
  4. Reboot the computer
