Updating the email address/phone number for MyGRCC portal

Question

How do I update my email address and/or phone number on MyGRCC portal for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) purposes?

  • MyGRCC

 

Information

Existing accounts will have the current email address and phone number on file from the Online Center imported into MyGRCC portal and used for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). 

 

Answer

  1. Log into MyGRCC
  2. Click your username in the upper right hand corner. 
  3. Click Edit Profile.
  4. Update Email Address. 
    1. Click Registered Email Address.
    2. Select Change my email to modify the email address (if necessary)
    3. Enter a new email address.
    4. Click Continue
    5. Navigate to the email address to find a one-time passcode that has been sent. 
    6. Enter the one-time passcode and click Continue
  5. Update Phone
    1. Click Registered Phones.
    2. Select Add new phone to modify the phone (if necessary)
    3. Enter a phone number that can receive text messages.
    4. Click Continue.
    5. A one-time passcode will be sent to the phone number. 
    6. Enter the one-time passcode and click Continue

By default, when prompting to use Multi-Factor Authentication, a one time passcode will be sent to the personal email address on file. You can update this to be any of the recovery methods previously set up (phone, mobile authenticator)
