How do I transfer my emails and documents from my GRCC Student Email

Information
GRCC Student email has a feature that will allow you to transfer your files from Google Drive and messages from Gmail to a personal email address. This is only enabled for students, and is perfect if you would like to keep a record of emails and documents after you are no longer a student.
Answer
Note: You will need to log out of all other Google accounts before attempting this process.
- Navigate to email.grcc.edu
- Select your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select Manage my Google Account
- In the top select Transfer your content. (You can also do this by navigating to https://takeout.google.com/transfer)
- Enter the email address you would like to transfer your content too. (must be a Gmail account)
- You will receive a confirmation email which you must select Get confirmation code. (In your personal email)
- Once you receive your confirmation code, return to the transfer screen in your GRCC Email and enter the code.
- The transfer process will begin, you will receive two confirmation emails in both your GRCC email and personal email.
Note: It may take up to a week for the transfer to complete. You’ll get an email when it’s finished. Restricted content will not be transferred
