How do I take a screenshot on my Macbook?

 

Environment

  • Mac OS

 

Answer

To take a screenshot of the whole screen:

  1. Type Command + Shift + 3 

To take a screenshot of a specific portion of the screen:

  1. Type Command + Shift + 4
  2. Drag the lines to what you would like to capture

To take a video capture of your screen:

  1. Type Command + Shift + 5
