How do I take a screenshot on my Macbook?

Answer

To take a screenshot of the whole screen:

  1. Press the keys Command + Shift + 3 simultaneously.

To take a screenshot of a specific portion of the screen:

  1. Press the keys Command + Shift + 4 simultaneously.
  2. Drag the crosshair to select the area you would like to capture.

To take a video capture of your screen:

  1. Press the keys Command + Shift + 5 simultaneously.
