Student cannot access Raider server for class

Issue

Student cannot access the Raider server for their class
url: raider.grcc.edu/username

Error Messages Present: Error 404: This page doesn't exist
 

Environment

• Raider Server

Resolution

The user deleted their web-docs folder and .htaccess file. They can fix this themselves by following these steps:

1. Create a folder named "web-docs"
2. Create a text file in the folder named ".htaccess"
3. In the text file, type these 2 lines:
   • Options +Indexes
   • IndexOptions FancyIndexing FoldersFirst NameWidth=* DescriptionWidth=*
