Google Group Email Delivery Settings

Question

How do I manage my groups email delivery settings, and the settings for others within the group?

Environment

• Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite)
• Google Groups
• Gmail

Answer

To change the settings for email delivery in Google Group:

1. Navigate to groups.google.com.
2. In line with the target group, click the Down arrow  in the Subscription column.
3. Select from the following:
   • Each email - Messages are sent individually as they’re posted to the group.
   • Digest - Up to 25 complete messages are combined into single emails and sent daily.
   • Abridged - Summaries of up to 150 messages are combined into single emails and sent daily.
   • No email - Messages from the group are not sent.

To change other members' settings for email delivery in Google Group:

1. Navigate to groups.google.com.
2. Select Group Settings in line the group name.
3. Click Members from the list on the left.
4. In the Subscription column, adjust settings for member(s) you would like to modify.
