Gmail provides quick action buttons that allow you to archive, delete, mark as read, or snooze an email simply by hovering over the message in your inbox.

How to change your Hover Actions settings:

  1. Open Gmail (opens in a new window).
  2. Click the Settings icon (represented by a gear) in the top right corner.
  3. Click the See all settings button.
  4. On the General tab, scroll down until you find the Hover actions section.
  5. Select either Enable hover actions or Disable hover actions.
  6. Scroll to the very bottom of the settings page.
  7. Click Save Changes.
