How do I set my web browser to clear cookies/cache automatically upon closing?

Resolution
Google Chrome
- Optional: Open the On-device site data settings by entering chrome://settings/content/siteData into your address bar and skip to step 7.
- In the upper right corner, click the Customize and control Google Chrome icon (three vertical dots).
- Click Settings.
- On the left-hand side, select Privacy and Security.
- Click Site settings.
- Expand Additional content settings.
- Click On-device site data.
- Select Delete data sites have saved to your device when you close all windows.
Mozilla Firefox
- Optional: Open the Privacy & Security settings by entering about:preferences#privacy into your address bar and skip to step 4.
- In the upper right corner, click the Application Menu icon (three horizontal lines).
- Click Settings.
- Click Privacy & Security.
- Under the Cookies and Site Data section, check the box next to Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed.
Internet Explorer
- In the upper right corner, click the Tools icon (gear shape).
- Click Internet Options.
- In the General tab, under the Browsing history section, locate Delete browsing history on exit.
- Note: On managed devices, this may be checked and grayed out by default.
Microsoft Edge
- Optional: Open the Clear browsing data on close settings by entering edge://settings/clearBrowsingDataOnClose into your address bar and skip to step 5.
- In the upper right corner, click the Settings and more icon (three horizontal dots).
- Click Settings (gear icon).
- On the left-hand side, click Privacy, search, and services.
- Scroll down to the Clear browsing data section and click Choose what to clear every time you close the browser.
- Toggle the switches to On for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Information
Safari does not currently support the feature to automatically clear cache or cookies upon closing the application.
