Resolution

Check for the Wi-Fi icon:

  1. Look for the Wi-Fi icon (a signal-like symbol) in the top-right corner of your screen.
    • If the Wi-Fi icon is visible, follow the steps in the Logging on to GRCC Wi-Fi article.
    • If the Wi-Fi icon is not visible, follow the instructions below based on your macOS version.

macOS Monterey (12.x) and earlier:

  1. Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.
  2. Select Network.
  3. From the left-hand menu, select Wi-Fi (formerly listed as AirPort).
  4. Click Turn Wi-Fi On if it’s currently off.
  5. Check the box labeled Show Wi-Fi status in menu bar.
  6. Click Apply, then close System Preferences.
  7. Proceed to Logging on to GRCC Wi-Fi.

macOS Ventura (13.x) and later:

  1. Open System Settings from the Apple menu.
  2. Select Wi-Fi from the sidebar.
  3. Toggle Wi-Fi to On (the switch will turn blue).
  4. Proceed to Logging on to GRCC Wi-Fi.
