Connecting to GRCC Wireless (Mac OS X)

Issue

I don't know how to get on the GRCC Wireless on my Mac.

Environment

• Mac OS
• GRCC Wireless Networks

Resolution

Look to see if the wireless icon (a signal-like icon in the upper right corner) is present.

If wireless icon is present following instructions for Logging on to GRCC Wifi.

If wireless icon is not present do the following:

1. Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.
2. Select Network.
3. Click AirPort from the network options on the left.
4. Click "Turn AirPort on" if the AirPort status button indicates that your wireless antenna is offline.
5. Place a checkmark in "Show AirPort status in menu bar".
6. Click Apply, and close 'System Preferences'.
7. Proceed to Logging on to GRCC Wifi
