Why am I getting an account disabled message when I log into a campus computer?

- Active Directory
- Campus Computers
Answer
Possible reasons for your account to be disabled:
- Older accounts will get locked out. Your account will be disabled after one year of discontinuing courses at GRCC.
- Trolling bots that attempt to log in in to accounts and fail repeatedly can cause an account to be disabled.
- Users that try to log in multiple times with an expired passphrase (password).
- Saving the passphrase within a browser for GRCC Wireless - it attempts until it locks the account (expired)
- The MyGRCC portal will prompt for to update your passphrase when it expires.
