Question

How do I mark a call as spam or block an incoming phone number?

Environment

  • Zoom Phone

Information

Phone numbers can be blocked using the Zoom Workplace software or within the web portal.
Blocked calls will not ring on your phone or show up in call history.   The caller will get a message that you are unavailable and disconnect the call.

Answer

Zoom Workplace Desktop Software

  1. Click the Phone Tab
  2. Click the History Tab
  3. Click on the ellipsis  next to the phone number you wish to mark
  4. Select Block Number
    • Select SPAM calls to notify the system administrator for possible blocking at the company level.
    • Select Other reasons to block the call for yourself.

Web Portal

  1. Sign in to grcc.zoom.us
  2. Click the Phone section on the left
  3. Click the History tab
  4. Optional: Select a date range to find the call easier
  5. Search for or locate the phone number in question

This feature is also available on the voicemail tab with the additional option to automatically delete SPAM voicemail.
