What can I do to get ready for Zoom?

Check your Zoom profile for phone numbers associated with your account.

• If you currently use Zoom meetings, check your Zoom profile for phone numbers associated with your account.   We have noticed some people have their cell phone number listed in Zoom and this number will display in Zoom Phone unless you remove it.

Make a list of people you call frequently. 

• Once we move to Zoom, you can make these people a starred contact so you can easily see their status and call, chat, or meet with them.

Start getting in the mindset of thinking of Zoom phone as a cell phone. 

• You will no longer dial 9 to make external calls.  Just dial the number like you would on a cell phone

• Check out the tentative Zoom Phone schedule so you will know how to contact others within GRCC.  Cisco users can continue to reach Zoom users with 4 digit extensions, while Zoom users will need to dial the 10 digit number of staff and faculty still using Cisco.
