Will I be getting a new phone on my desk?

If you qualify for a desk phone, yes.
Your EBCO will work with your BCO and/or supervisor to get your preference on a desk phone or softphone. If you choose a softphone, it will come with a wireless headset. If you choose a desk phone, there will not be an option to use a headset. The default choice will be a desk phone with no headset.

Classrooms will continue to have physical phones. Desk phones will be placed in “common areas” such as adjunct spaces and tutoring labs.
