How to Enable the Lockdown Browser Calculator

Question

How do I allow students to use the electronic calculator in LockDown Browser?

  • Blackboard
  • Respondus 
    • LockDown Browser

 

Answer

  1. Log in to Blackboard.
  2. Navigate to the desired course.
  3. From the course menu to the left, click Course Tools below Course Management. 
  4. Click Respondus LockDown Browser.
  5. Click the icon next to the test name.
  6. Click Settings.
  7. Click Advanced Settings.
  8. Click Enable Calculator on the toolbar.
    • Choose from Standard or Scientific.
  9. Click Save + Close.
