Adding an Image to a Blackboard Test Question

Question

How do I add an image to a test question in my Blackboard course?

Environment

  • Blackboard

Answer

  1. Locate the desired question on the exam.
  2. Click  from the toolbar.
    • You can choose to Insert Local Files if the image is saved to the computer.
    • Choose Content Collection if the image file is located on Blackboard Storage.
  3. Click Submit

Tips

  • Use high-quality images. The images that you add to your test questions should be high-quality and relevant to the content of the question.
  • Resize your images. Make sure that your images are the correct size for your test questions. You don't want them to be too large or too small.
  • Caption your images. It is helpful to caption your images so that students know what they are looking at.
  • Use alt text for images. Alt text is text that is displayed when an image cannot be displayed. This is important for students who are visually impaired.
