How do I add an image to my course content area in Blackboard?
Environment
Blackboard
Answer
Locate the desired area in the course where you want to add the image.
Click
from the toolbar.
You can choose to
Insert Local Files
if the image is saved to the computer.
Choose
Content Collection
if the image file is located on Blackboard storage.
Click
Submit
.
Tips
Use high-quality images. The images that you add should be high-quality and relevant to the content.
Resize your images. Make sure that your images are the correct size for your test questions. You don't want them to be too large or too small.
Caption your images. It is helpful to caption your images so that students know what they are looking at.
Use alt text for images. Alt text is text that is displayed when an image cannot be displayed. This is important for students who are visually impaired.
