Uploading a Camtasia Video with Quiz to Blackboard

Question

How can I upload a Camtasia video with quiz to my Blackboard course?

Answer

Exporting 

Windows

1. With the video open in Camtasia, click Export > Local File. 
2. Click MP4 with Smart Player from the File type dropdown. 
3. Click Advanced > Smart Player tab > enable the Report using SCORM option. 
   • Click the SCORM options to customize. 
4. Click Export. 

macOS

1. With the video open in Camtasia, click Export > Local File. 
2. Click Export to MP4 from the File format dropdown. 
3. Enable the Include Quiz option. Click the Options.
4. Enable Include SCORM options.
   • Click the Options to customize. 
5. Click Export. 

Uploading

1. Navigate to the desired course and choose the location where you want the video added. 
2. Click Build Content. 
3. Click Add Content Package (SCORM) from the menu. 
4. Click Browser Local Files 
5. Locate where the video is stored and click Open. 
6. Provide a Title and Description. 
7. Click Submit.
