Student Preview Mode in Blackboard

Question

How can I preview my course in Blackboard as a student? 

Environment

Answer

1. Open Blackboard. 
2. Locate the desired course.
3. In the upper-right corner, click the Student Preview button. 
   • An orange bar will appear across the top of the screen, indicating that you are in student preview mode.
4. Explore the course.
   • You can now navigate through the course as a student would. You can view the syllabus, assignments, discussions, and other course content.
5. When your finished previewing the course, click Exit Preview. 
6. When you exit Student Preview mode, you will be asked if you want to save your data. This includes any changes you have made to the course, such as submitting assignments or participating in discussions. If you choose to save your data, it will be saved under your instructor preview user account.  If you do not choose to save your data, it will be deleted.
