Installing Lockdown Browser for a Second Institution

Question

How do I install Lockdown Browser if I attend another school?

  • Respondus Lockdown Browser

 

Information

Lockdown Browser applications are specific to the school you download it from.

 

Answer

Students can either delete the other school's version or install GRCC's version as a secondary institution

PC

  1. Follow the directions to download and install Lockdown Browser.
  2. Select the option for a Second Institution.
  3. radio dial for second institution highlighted
  4. Click Next.
  5. In your Windows menu, you will now see two versions of Lockdown Browser.

Mac 

  1. Navigate to your Applications folder.
  2. Locate your existing copy of Lockdown Browser.
  3. Right-click to show the mouse menu.
  4. Click Rename.
  5. Rename the application to include version (School 1 Name).
  6. Follow the directions to download and install Lockdown Browser.
