Viewing older/newer emails

Question

How do you view older/newer emails in gmail? 
ex. My inbox says I have 130 emails but I can only see 50.

 

Environment

  • Gmail

 

Answer

By default Gmail only shows 50 emails at a time. Located just above the email messages are arrows to toggle to older or newer emails.

  • Clicking the > will show the next 50.
  • Clicking < will show the previous 50.
