Bitlocker Password Recovery

Introduction

BitLocker is Microsoft's encryption program that can encrypt the hard drive as well as protecting any unauthorized changes through malware. The program will be deployed on all new hardware and existing hardware that has been reimaged.

Key Feature

• Should a GRCC staff member with BitLocker enabled on their system forget or lose the passphrase (password), the Support Desk staff have the ability to recover the passphrase for all users. 

Eligibility

• This service is available to all faculty and staff with a GRCC Windows computer.
