How do I sort my email in Gmail by unread?

Resolution

  1. In the top right, click the Settings (gear icon) and then select See all settings.
  2. Click the Inbox tab at the top of the settings page.
  3. Select Unread first from the Inbox type: drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
