Darkening Scans on a Ricoh Printer

Issue

A scan is coming through too light, and needs to be darkened upon scanning.

 

Environment

  • Ricoh Printer

 

Resolution

  1. Scan your card/login to the printer.
  2. Tap Device Functions.
  3. Choose the associated account.
  4. Tap Scan.
  5. Tap Send Settings (on the right side of the screen).
  6. Tap Density
  7. Change the density to the desired darkness level.
  8. Tap in the upper left to go back to Send Settings
  9. Tap again.
  10. Choose the desired destination (it says your name to send to yourself).
  11. Press the start button to scan.
