J: Drive Not Showing

Issue

Unable to access the J: drive. Drive either does not show in File Explorer or shows with blue question mark over the drive.

 

Environment

  • Windows 10/11

 

Resolution

  1. Open the Software Center.
  2. Double-click GRCC IT - Check In.
  3. Click Install/Reinstall.
    • Wait for Program to finish
  4. Click Applications tab.
  5. Double-click Refresh DNS Suffix.
  6. Click Install (if available).
  7. Restart computer.

If Refresh DNS Suffix cannot be found in the Software Center and J: Drive still does not show after a restart, contact IT Support at 616-234-4357 for further assistance.
