Will I get a new phone number when we switch to zoom?

Your phone extension will remain the same in most cases.
Your 10-digit phone number will also remain the same if your external call volume met specific criteria we used in determining phone licenses.
If you rarely made or received external calls, you will no longer have a direct dial number. Instead, you will need to use a common area phone to make outgoing calls. You can also receive incoming calls by having another Zoom user (such as a departmental APSS) transfer the call to you. If you fit into this category, we may ask you if you are willing to change your extension, but it will not be mandatory.
