Dental Chair Video Screen arrangement

Question

How do I fix the 2nd screen on the Dental chairs in the Clinic? It currently is displaying TV Static such as the following:

Environment

  • Cook Academic Hall Dental Clinic
  • Dental chairs
  • Samsung TV display

 

Information

These arm mounted displays are actual small Samsung TVs, so the display can be set to a TV Input. There is no signal so obviously this will not display anything but static.

 

Answer

There are 2 methods to switch the input back to the PC selection:

Method 1

  1. Press the menu toggle button on th back of the display

  2. Scroll over to select the input selector

  3. Choose HDMI by moving the Toggle Button down
    On-screen inputs of Samsung
  4. The PC now shows on the Arm Display
    PC input now selected

Method 2

  1. These monitors are equipped with remote IR sensors to turn on the monitor and change inputs like a remote

  2. This is controlled by the control box that is wired into the system and sits next to the counter display

  3. The panel is simple

Button Actions:

  1. Display Power - turns on the Samsung Display
  2. Display Mute - mutes the Volume on the Samsung Display
  3. Volume - adjusts the volume on the Samsung Display
  4. Video - switches the input on the Samsung Display between the TV input and the HDMI PC input
