Wall Display in Science Cadaver Lab (CSC-342)

Information

This article describes the video switching and display configurations for the two Dell desktops located in the Science Building Cadaver Lab.

Environment

  • Science Room 342
  • Dell Ultra Desktops

Process

This display setup allows either wall display to show the feed from Desktop PC 1 or Desktop PC 2. It can also mirror a single desktop across both wall displays. The configuration depends on which desktop the controller is currently managing.

Setup 1: Displaying One Desktop to One Wall Display

This configuration will display the following:

Output showing Desktop 1 feed on Wall Display 2. Output showing Desktop 2 feed on Wall Display 1.

Setup 2: Switched Button Layout

The following image illustrates the button layout when the desktop feeds are switched:

The display controls are managed via the Power symbol at the bottom of the panel as shown below:
