Optiview at GRCC Campus Police

Information

This article contains the connection information for the Optiview client used at the GRCC Campus Police. If the Interview Cameras are not visible in the client than this is how to set them up.

 

Environment

  • Windows 10
  • GRCC Campus Police
  • Optiview VMS 2.02 software

 

Process

  1. Open OptiView shortcut from desktop
  2. Click the blue + Add button at the top of the screen
  3. Enter the following information
    1. Device Name: 172.22.244.4
    2. IP/Domain Name: 172.22.244.4
    3. Port: 37777 (it is already defaulted to this, so it can be left alone)
    4. User Name: admin
    5. Password: ***** (password redacted for security)
  4. Click"Save and Continue" button
  5. Close the Manual Add box
  6. Hover over Devices tab
  7. Click the little X to close the tab
  8. Click on Playback video wheel icon in middle Search pane
  9. Click on Device section on the left side
  10. Check mark to view the IP addess cameras
  11. Search for video from intended date range
  12. Click Search
  13. Double Click video wheel box to load video
  14. Click Play icon to play recording.
