Using your own Laptop with Classroom Media

How do I use my own laptop with the Classroom Multimedia System?

Environment

  • Classroom Multimedia System

Instructions

  1. Connect the laptop.
    • Connection options include VGA, HDMI, and Audio cables.
  2. Turn on the laptop.
  3. Press On on the control panel in the podium.
    • The light will flash while the system warms up.
  4. Press the Laptop or HDMI button.
    • If no video displays, press another input and then toggle back to Laptop or HDMI.
    • If no video displays while using Windows, try pressing Function + F4 or Function + F7. Hold down the Function key at the same time you press F4 or F7.
