Installing Talon

This instructs the installation of Talon for Campus Police Computers

 

Environment

  • Windows 10

 

Process

  1. Navigate to S:\Units\Campus Police\Talon Back Up Installer -launch the shortcut link (New Talon 2019 ...) to the download page for Talon
    • (If you do not have rights to access this folder navigate in a browser to http://csb.ctc-core.com/talon/talondesktop.html)
  2.  Select the download on the webpage
  3. Launch the application once downloaded
  4. A unzip prompt will appear, select the the unzip option
  5. Navigate to C:\ctccore\TalonCSB
  6. Launch the install application (ctcstart.exe) Uploaded Image (Thumbnail) from the directory
  7. Let the installer install all the updates
  8. After the install is finished the software should be available to use

Side note:

If this is a new device receiving Talon, CTCORE Technologies will need to be called or emailed to verify the MAC address.
