Troubleshooting a paper jam in a printer

Information

A multifunction printer (MFP) has a paper jam.

 

Environment

  • Konica Minolta MFP

 

Process

  • Attempt to remove any paper caught in the machine by opening doors that make the paper path visible.
  • If the printer keeps jamming only when using a specific paper media, please switch paper source.
  • Also, be cautious when printing transparencies, as some printers may not be capable of doing so.
