Adding Templates to Google Drive

Information

Requests for GRCC templates being added to Google Drive must follow the request process (see linked KB). Follow these steps once the template has been approved. 

 

Environment

  • Google Drive

 

Process

  1. Login to teamdriveadmin@grcc.edu using the admin credentials.
  2. Click on the waffle and navigate to Drive.
  3. Make sure the file template is shared with teamdriveadmin@grcc.edu.
  4. Click New.
  5. Scroll down to the appropriate Google application that corresponds with the template being added and click the carrot next to it.
  6. Click From a template.
  7. Click Submit template.
  8. Click Select a presentation.
  9. Double click the desired file.
  10. If the button "Submit a copy of this file instead of the original" is toggled on, the option to rename the file will appear. 
  11. Click Submit.
