Mobile Hotspot User Guides

Information

There are different mobile hotspot models that could be in use. Refer to the identification images below to help determine which model you have.

Note: Loaned Hotspots will only receive coverage in the United States.

Hotspot Models

  • T9
    T9 Mobile Hotspot: A rectangular black device with a small OLED screen on the front.
  • Linkzone 2
    Linkzone 2 Hotspot: A black rectangular device with three LED indicator icons on the top surface.
  • Moxee
    Moxee Hotspot: A sleek black device with a square display screen.
  • AT&T Unite Express 2
    AT&T Unite Express 2: A rounded black device with a large color display.

T9

Button Operation and Layout

LED Indicator

T9 LED status guide: A solid blue light indicates a new message or notification; a blinking red light indicates the battery is low.

Display Icons

T9 Menu Navigation

Instructions: Press the power button quickly to cycle through information screens. Screens include Wi-Fi Name (SSID), Wi-Fi Password, and Device Settings.

Connecting to the Internet:

  1. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your computer or phone.
  2. Locate the Wi-Fi name that matches your device. Your device name can be found by cycling through the menu on your hotspot's display.
  3. Connect to your hotspot and enter the password (also found by cycling through the menu).

Linkzone 2 LED Indicators

Signal Indicator (Radio Tower Icon):

  • Good coverage: 3 LEDs light up blue.
  • Middle coverage: 2 LEDs light up blue.
  • Weak coverage: 1 LED lights up blue.
  • Flashing Blue: Network Disconnected.
  • Solid Red: No network, no SIM card, or SIM error.

Battery Indicator (Battery Icon):

  • 3 Blue LEDs: Battery level 80% - 100%.
  • 2 Blue LEDs: Battery level 40% - 79%.
  • 1 Blue LED: Battery level 15% - 39%.
  • 1 Red LED: Battery level 0% - 14%.
  • Flashing: Device is charging. 3 solid blue LEDs indicate a full charge.

Connecting to the Internet:

  1. Power on your mobile hotspot.
  2. On your device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and select the SSID found on the label on the back panel or inside the back cover.
  3. Enter the password located on the same label and click OK.

Moxee

Moxee Display Guide

Moxee screen interface guide: Top bar shows Signal and Battery; center shows Data Usage; bottom shows Wi-Fi Band (2.4G or 5G).

Connecting to the Internet:

  1. Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds until the logo appears.
  2. Search for "Moxee HotspotXX_2.4G" or "Moxee HotspotXX_5G" on your device.
  3. Select "Connect" and enter the password found on the device "Wi-Fi Info" screen or under the battery cover.

AT&T Unite Express 2

Important: This hotspot will prompt users to visit the AT&T Wi-Fi manager website when it is powered on. Users should disregard this prompt. Press the power button again to dismiss the message.

Button Layout

AT&T Unite Express 2 buttons: The Power button is on the top right edge. Two navigation buttons are located on the bottom edge.

LCD Screen Guide

AT&T Unite Express 2 home screen: Displays Signal bars, 4G LTE status, Battery percentage, and the specific Wi-Fi Name and Password.

Connecting to the Internet:

  1. Power on the hotspot by holding the power button for 2 seconds. Ensure the battery is inserted.
    • Disregard the setup prompt by pressing the power button again.
  2. On your device, select the network name (ATT-WIFI-XXXX) shown on the hotspot home screen.
  3. Enter the password shown on the hotspot's home screen.
