Mobile Hotspot User Guides

Information

There are different mobile hotspot models that could be in use. Refer to the images below to help identify which model you have.

Connecting to the Internet:

1. Open the WiFi settings on your computer or phone.

2. Locate the Wifi name that matches your device. Your device name can be found by cycling through the menu on your hotspot's display (see above).

3. Connect to your hotspot and enter the password (also found by cycling through the menu).

 

 

Linkzone 2

 

  • Linkzone 2 LED Indicators

a) WiFi Indicator: 

  • Good coverage: 3 LEDs all light up
  • Middle coverage: 2 LEDs light up
  • Weak coverage: 1 LED lights up
  • Flashing Blue: Network Disconnected
  • Solid Red: No network, no SIM card or SIM card error, limited or no service.

b) Battery Indicator:

  • 3 LEDs light up blue: Battery level 80% - 100%
  • 2 LEDs light up blue: Battery level 40% - 79%
  • 1 LED lights up blue: Battery level 15% - 39%
  • 1 LED lights up red: Battery level 0% - 14%.
  • LEDs will flash while charging. Once the battery level is at
    100%, 3 LEDs will display solid blue.

 

Connecting to the Internet:

  1. Power on your mobile hotspot.
  2. On your computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and select network name (SSID) located on the label on the back panel of your mobile hotspot. NoteWi-Fi name and Wi-Fi Password are located on the label inside the back cover of the device.
  3. Enter password located on the label on the back panel and click OK.

Connecting to the Internet:

  1. Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds until the welcome logo appears on the display. After a few seconds, the Wi-Fi signal icon will appear on the display.
  2. On your computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device, search for available Wi-Fi networks. Select for the network (SSID) “Moxee HotspotXX_2.4G” or “Moxee HotspotXX_5G”, where XX are the last two digits of the device IMEI.
  3. Click “Connect” and enter the default password found on your device. Your Wi-Fi SSID and password information can be found on your device’s “Wi-Fi Info” screen or on the SSID label located underneath the battery cover.

 

AT&T Unite Express 2

Important - This hotspot will prompt users to visit the AT&T WiFi manager website when it is powered on. Users should disregard this prompt as the device has already been fully set up. Press the power button again to dismiss the message and view the device name and password.

Connecting to the Internet:

  1. Power on the hotspot by holding the power button for 2 seconds. If you have not already, insert the battery located in the box into the device. 
    • Disregard the setup prompt by pressing the power button again 
  2. On your computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and select network name (SSID) located on the home screen of your hotspot (ATT-WIFI-XXXX). Enter the password located on your hotspot's home screen. If you do not see the password or SSID, cycle through the menu screen using the power button.
