Disabling Website Notifications in Google Chrome

Issue

A user reports seeing unwanted notifications from a website in Google Chrome.

Environment

Cause

The user may have told Google Chrome to allow notifications when visiting the website.

Resolution

  1. Click the more options menu icon More options in the upper right corner and select Settings.
  2. Under Privacy and security select Site Settings.
  3. Navigate to Permissions.
  4. Click Notifications.
  5. Under Allow locate the website and click the more options menu icon More options to the right. The site can either be blocked or removed.
