Share a file Through Google Drive

Issue

A file to be shared is too large to send via email would like to send via Google Drive



Environment

  • Google Drive


Resolution

When logged into Google Drive:

  1. Click New.
  2. Click File Upload.
  3. Choose the file and select Open.
  4. Right-click on the file.
  5. Click Share.
  6. Choose who to share the file with.
  7. Click Done.

As of August 29, 2023 GRCC users are now able to share Google Drive files with non-GRCC users that do not use Google accounts.
